Surface Area of a Sphere

A sphere is a perfectly round geometrical object in three-dimensional space. The surface area of a sphere is the total area of the outer surface.

Surface Area (S.A) = 4 × Area of Circle

Area of Circle = πr²

S.A = 4πr²

Note: For a hemisphere (half-sphere), the curved surface area is 2πr² and the total surface area is 3πr².
