[ SCANNING CROSS-SECTION ]
What is happening?
1. The Machine: The big circle is called a Gantry. Inside it, an X-ray beam is spinning 360° very fast around the patient.
2. Slicing: Instead of one flat picture, it takes pictures of the body in "slices"—like cutting a loaf of bread to see inside.
3. Detail: Because it scans from all angles, it is much clearer than a normal X-ray. It can find tiny injuries in the brain or liver.
Class 9 Task: Move the slider. Notice how the internal organs change as you move from Chest to Stomach. This is the "3D" power of CT scans!
