Inertia is the tendency of objects to resist changes in their state of motion. Objects at rest stay at rest, and objects in motion stay in motion, unless acted upon by an external force.
This simulation demonstrates pure inertia in space. No forces act on the object after the initial push. The object will continue moving at constant velocity forever.
